If you’re getting a lot of out-of-office replies these days, you’re not alone. For many, these are the final days before school starts back up and everyone is trying to hold on to what’s left of summer.

I get it -- and that’s why I’ll keep this short: 

We’re still a little shy of our $5,000 end-of-month goal. I’m humbly asking you for a $2 contribution before midnight tonight to help us close the gap. 

Thank you for all you’ve done for our campaign, and for taking the time to read this email. I’m on the ballot in a little over two short months’ time, and our organizers and I will be grateful for the additional resources.
