** Mega donors spending mega dollars to bring mega blackouts to a state near you.

Capitol Research Center ([link removed]) (8/29/22) reports: "A new political action committee (PAC) is funneling tens of thousands of dollars to key Democrats in Georgia, North Carolina, and Washington. If the quiet funders behind the PAC succeed, they could determine which party controls the hotly contested Senate after the November 2022 midterm elections. Green Senate 2022 doesn’t have a website or online presence. But in June it transferred over $113,000 to the PACs of two Democratic senators and one candidate: $40,000 to Patty Murray in Washington, $35,000 to Raphael Warnock in Georgia, and $38,200 to Cheri Beasley in North Carolina. It’s also expected to raise money for the reelection campaign of Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV). Nearly all of that money came from just 17 donors, many of whom are major donors to the Democratic Party and the Left...Its donors and fundraising fees suggest the group is closely connected to the League of Conservation
Voters (LCV), one of the environmental movement’s top spenders. Its history of supporting Democrats has earned the group the moniker 'dark money heavyweight' by the left-leaning Center for Public Integrity. Little is known about the group’s origins, but filings with the Federal Election Commission show that it’s run by the firm Capitol Compliance. Capitol Compliance provides similar services to the Lincoln Project, an anti-Republican attack group funded by liberals; Defend the Vote, which accuses 'Republican obstructionists' of disenfranchising voters; the pro-gun control Brady PAC; and Elect Democratic Women, a partisan PAC."

** "By providing tens of billions of dollars in tax credits for wind and solar power, Congress has been propping up State renewable electricity mandates for decades. The IRA provides an additional $161 billion in 'clean electricity' tax credits. Clearly, many members of Congress are keen to patronize wind and solar power. Yet no candid legal expert would claim that enacting new tax credits implicitly establishes, or authorizes any federal agency to establish, a national 'clean electricity' regulatory mandate."

Great visualization of Biden's "China First" energy agenda.

(8/30/22) reports: "Many governments are investing in renewable energy sources like solar power, but who controls the manufacturing of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels? As it turns out, China owns the vast majority of the world’s solar panel supply chain, controlling at least 75% of every single key stage of solar photovoltaic panel manufacturing and processing. This visualization shows the shares held by different countries and regions of the key stages of solar panel manufacturing, using data from the International Energy Agency (IEA). From polysilicon production to soldering finished solar cells and modules onto panels, China has the largest share in every stage of solar panel manufacturing. Even back in 2010, the country made the majority of the world’s solar panels, but over the past 12 years, its average share of the solar panel supply chain has gone from 55% to 84%. China also continues to lead in terms of investment, making up almost two-thirds of global large-scale solar investment.
In the first half of 2022, the country invested $41 billion, a 173% increase from the year before."

(8/31/22) reports: "A PUB and bed and breakfast in Dorset has had to close 'with immediate effect' - with surging costs being blamed for the decision. The Fontmell in Fontmell Magna, Shaftesbury, ceased trading on Tuesday, as it is revealed utility bills alone have increased by £58,000. Existing bookings for the bed and breakfast will be honoured. In a statement online, a spokesman said: “It is with a heavy heart and great regret to say that The Fontmell will close with immediate effect other than to honour the bed and breakfast bookings that we already have. 'This is not a decision that has been made lightly and we would like to thank all our guests for their support and help over the last six and a half years. Supplier prices have increased to such a point that we are no longer able to pass that cost onto our guests. Our utilities alone have increased by an extra £58,000 per year. Until further notice and subject to the above proviso as regards current bookings, the building will
remain closed.'"
