Team, this is a long email, but please bear with me.

The core message of our campaign is that I’ve taken on big fights for the people of Colorado — and won.

I’ve defended the Affordable Care Act to make sure hundreds of thousands of Coloradans have access to life-saving health care. I took on big pharma and held them accountable for fueling the opioid epidemic. I’ve protected consumers from tech giants like Facebook and Google to make sure they’re held accountable for their predatory practices.

I’ve even argued before the U.S. Supreme Court to protect election integrity – ensuring no presidential electors act as free agents against the people’s will – and to stop voter intimidation at the polls.

But the work is far from over – and this election year is going to be tough. If we’re going to win, and keep up this important work, I need your help. Can you sign your name and endorse my campaign today?

Campaigns should be about ideas, policies, and experience. Coloradans are sick and tired of campaigns marked by endless mud-slinging, baseless attacks, and outright lies. I’m sick of them, too. Unfortunately, my opponent’s campaign is heavy on baseless attacks and light on ideas. I will be running on my record and can use your help in getting out our message.

Let me tell you something, team. When I ran for my first elected office in 2018, I committed to serving as an Attorney General who would be the People’s Lawyer. Almost four years later, we have much to show for our time in office:

• We brought $500 million to Colorado by suing Big Pharma and its corporate leaders for their illegal actions that fueled the opioid crisis;
• We stood up for consumers by returning over $130 millions of dollars to Coloradans in refunds and student debt relief;
• We went to court—twice—to stop the US Postal Service’s plans that would have undermined the delivery of ballots by mail;
• And we investigated and prosecuted drug cartels that were pushing deadly fentanyl into our communities.

…just to name a few.

But listen, I’m not done.

Over the past few years, and in recent months, we’ve seen unprecedented attacks on your rights. We have to keep our communities safe from the threat of gun violence. We have to protect a woman’s right to choose. We have to defend our democracy.

I am committed as ever to serving as the People’s Lawyer as your Attorney General. I will continue to advance the rule of law, protect our democracy, and promote justice for all. I will continue to defend and protect every Coloradan.
