Nottingham City Council is holding an event facilitated by the University of Nottingham focussing upon housing in Nottingham and how it serves the city?s ethnic minority communities. Citizens will be able to hear from national and local leaders in housing, discussing the positive contributions that a safe and good quality home can have on households and local communities. The event will also highlight the negative impacts that poor housing can have, especially where the effects of these are disproportionately felt by ethnic minority communities, for example issues of overcrowding and conditions of damp and mould. This event is an opportunity for Nottingham's citizens to share their views and help shape the housing strategy for Nottingham around housing topics including:
