Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo., has joined the lineup of lawmakers set to address credit unions during NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus, happening September 11-14 in Washington, D.C. Luetkemeyer serves as Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee; he is also a member of the House Financial Services Committee where he serves as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions.
In a new insight post on NAFCU’s ONES + CFPB Supervision Network, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Ann Petros reminds members that this Friday, Sept. 2, is the last day to register for the Fall Large Credit Union Summit. The complimentary event, where credit unions with over $8 billion in assets can attend a private meeting with the NCUA’s Office of National Examinations and Supervision (ONES) and credit unions with over $5 billion in assets can attend a private meeting the CFPB’s Office of Supervision, Enforcement & Fair Lending (SEFL), will take place Sept. 11-12 both in Washington, D.C. and virtually.
