Friends, can I let you in on a little secret?

I hate asking you for money. I’d much rather talk to you about the legislation I’m working on or what I plan to get done in the Senate.

But my campaign just had to increase our TV buy by 32% to compete with a new wave of attack ads, and we don’t have the cash to pay for it yet. Obviously, this isn’t a great situation to be in.

While asking for money is my least favorite part of the job, Mitch McConnell and his dark money buddies are spending more than $30 million to keep this seat red—and in a purple state that went for Trump by 8 points, we can’t let their shady attempts to smear my record go unanswered.
