Hi Friend,

I have just finished my Reconnection Tour, which was an amazing adventure
that took me across the country from Windsor, ON, to Victoria, BC, to St.
John's NL. I was delighted to meet Greens across the country and encounter
the diversity of who we are, the unity of our collective vision, and plant
the seeds of the future of our Party. I didn't make it everywhere but
hopefully I will meet those of you I missed in other ways.

We held thirty-six tour events across eight provinces right across the
country, plus many meetings with past candidates and local organizers, as
well as outreach meetings with advocacy groups, elected officials, and
leaders. I also made it to a number of Electoral District Association
meetings and events in person, and many more online! What an absolute joy
it has been to witness the sprouting of what will become our future. Thank
you all who came out and shared your hopes for our Green future.

Being interim Leader has probably been the most beautiful experience of my
life. Our community is filled with wonderful people, and working with our
incredible caucus is the honour of a lifetime, and very rewarding. I am
looking forward to the Fall session of Parliament, pushing the government
for the transformative solutions we need and supporting our fabulous MPs,
as well as the leadership contest. As you meet the candidates and engage as
they put themselves forward, you will get to choose who leads our party
into the future.

We need your support in order to be able to share your vision with the
world, push the government on transforming our economy, and meet the basic
needs of people in a sustainable way.The Green Party is 39 years old and
looking forward turning 40 and being a strong voice in the Canadian
political conversation.

Thank you for your dedication, support, and hard work over the years. I
took this job in service and in gratitude for everyone who built this
party, and I have to say, you're all worth it! I feel great about where
we're headed, especially as we get kick started this Fall. Everyone needs
us right now, so we best show up!
