When SCOTUS overturned Roe, I was heartbroken and furious, but not surprised. As president of Planned Parenthood, I watched year after year as Republicans methodically gained power and passed legislation to control women's bodies. It culminated in a deranged president who tipped the balance of the Supreme Court to finally overturn Roe.
The only person standing in the way of Mitch McConnell and a nationwide abortion ban is Catherine Cortez Masto. But right now, McConnell’s super PAC is spending $18 MILLION to defeat her, so the only way she’ll be able to overcome these attacks is if pro-choice Democrats like you and me step up right now, Team.
