This isn’t the news we wanted to share, especially the day before our major August fundraising deadline: House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is coming to our district TONIGHT to hold a fundraiser with our far-right opponent.

We need a strong fundraising push to send Republicans a message that their anti-family extremism is not welcome in West Michigan. Will you join us with a contribution of $5 or more right away?

GOP leaders like McCarthy are focused on our district because they know that it could very well determine which party controls the House of Representatives after the midterms. We may not have the GOP’s network of mega-donors and special interest groups, but we have something more powerful: a network of grassroots supporters like you who know that West Michigan is ready for a change.
