John, after I emailed yesterday more than 200 grassroots donors stepped up and chipped in. It was our best fundraising email of the month.
I asked, and folks answered at a critical time — while our online fundraising is way down from last month. But we're still facing a steep fundraising dip. Can you chip in $3 to help us turn our fundraising around and get us back on track before midnight tomorrow night?

Subject: The situation is getting serious now
John,
I know that time is precious, so I’ll get straight to the point. Every week, month, and quarter, my team works hard to set ambitious but achievable fundraising goals. It’s essential we hit them.
This month, our fundraising projections are not looking good. We’re 32% behind where we were at this time last month. That’s a major drop in fundraising. Put simply, we need to raise about $21,573 to hit our August goal.
The situation is getting serious, and we need all hands on deck. I can’t emphasize it enough: it’s critical we raise that amount by Wednesday at midnight to stay on track.
I won’t sugarcoat it: these numbers are very concerning. We’re talking about a 32% decline in fundraising in only one month.
In a field flooded with corporate money and super PACs, the odds are still stacked against progressives. I don’t ask for donations for the sake of it.
The funds we raise keep our campaign running – we never know what’s going to happen. They also allow me to support other progressive candidates on the ground and share resources in pivotal races.
I’m committed to this fight for the long haul, but that requires strong, sustained fundraising. And to be honest, we are way behind.
We have just two days to raise $21,573, so I have to ask again: will you donate $3 or any amount right now, so we can close this gap?In solidarity,
Pramila
