John,
Did you see Martha’s email over the weekend? She’s not kidding: Getting elected isn’t cheap.
You wouldn’t believe what we have to spend to print lawn signs, put up advertisements on television, and pay our overworked staff – even sending the email you’re reading right now costs an arm and a leg.
Martha is the only candidate on the ballot who knows that we don’t have to choose between safety and reform: We can do both and we will. But we need your help today to get her elected. We’re about $20,000 short of our monthly goal.
So please, chip in $10, $25, $50 or whatever amount you can so that the next Hennepin County Attorney is ready on Day One to focus on the issues that matter most. Here’s a link to give: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/martha4hennepin?refcode=em_0830_eom
Thank you,

Subject: John, we're falling behind
John,
I’m not the first to say it: Running for public office is way too expensive. It’s not a problem I’ll be able to solve as the next Hennepin County Attorney, but it is a reality I’ll have to live with for the next two and a half months.
My finance director just let me know that we’re quite a bit behind our monthly goal of $60,000. Please John, help us close the gap before the holiday weekend by making a $25, $50, or even $100 contribution so we can keep putting lawn signs in yards and envelopes in mailboxes across Hennepin County.
I’m the only candidate on the ballot this November who is ready to cast politics aside in favor of rebuilding trust and keeping our communities safe – but the only way we’re gonna pull this off is with your help.
If you’ve already made a contribution to my campaign and are thinking about making another, now is the time to double down! Whatever you can give today is so appreciated.
Again, thank you.
Martha Holton Dimick
Candidate for Hennepin County Attorney
