John,
Let’s make 2022 the year we elect the first Black female governor in U.S. history!
As Georgia’s governor, Democrat Stacey Abrams will take executive action to defend our right to abortion and to end discriminatory voting practices that disproportionately target voters of color.
Stacey has been neck and neck with her opponent, extremist Republican Gov. Brian Kemp — and now a recent poll shows her TIED with Kemp in this battleground race!1 Chip in a donation of $10 or more to Color Of Change PAC’s end-of-month fundraising drive. Your donation will help us turn out voters in crucial races like this with a statewide organizing operation that harnesses the power of Black voters!
In 2018, Abrams came within 55,000 votes shy of unseating Gov. Kemp, who used his position as then-secretary of state to oversee his own election and suppress the vote.
But Stacey didn’t give up because as she always says, Georgia is a voter-suppressed state, NOT a red state. She went to work with voting rights activists across the state to help register more than 800,000 new voters ahead of the 2020 election, powering a blue wave to elect President Joe Biden and flip the U.S. Senate!
Now Color Of Change PAC is continuing to work to mobilize voters in races like Stacey’s and others up and down the ballot with digital ads, call parties, textathons and Black Joy events to turn out voters across the state. Will you pitch in $10 or more to our $25K end-of-month fundraising goal and ensure we have the resources we need to help power this victory?
In 2020, Color of Change PAC led a historic mobilization of volunteers and voters across the country, making more than 6 million voter contacts. We know that we can make an impact in this battleground race to give Stacey the edge she needs, but we need all hands on deck to get this done.
Let’s get to work,
The Color Of Change PAC Team
