Team, it’s been a big month.
First, we won a major victory in halting harmful oil and gas drilling in California’s natural landscape, and I announced – along with attorneys general from across the country – a challenge to Ron DeSantis’s discriminatory “Don’t Say Gay” law.
Then, I joined with Vice President Kamala Harris, California state legislators, and leaders on reproductive rights to talk about how we’re safeguarding the right to safe, legal abortion here in California – from protecting private medical data to ensuring that California remains a safe haven for all who need reproductive care.
Now, the GOP is coming for this race: National Republicans think they have a chance to put an end to the progress we’re making and put in their own favorite.
I need your help to ensure we can keep fighting for progress here in California and across the country. Will you chip in $5 to my campaign right now?
My opponent has a lot to say, but none of it is about what he’d actually do as attorney general.
But in state after state across America, we’ve seen the impact of attorneys general – and we’ve seen what happens when a Republican wins. Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, just to name a few: Republican attorneys general have led the charge to ban abortion and restrict the rights of those seeking reproductive care.
We can’t afford not to have a champion for our rights and our values leading the California Department of Justice. Please, chip in $5 to my campaign >>
Thank you,
Rob Bonta
