One last thing, it's back to school season and the Arlington County Democrats Black Caucus is hosting a Back to School Backpack Drive for much-needed school supplies. The Back to School Backpack Drive will benefit teachers, staff, and students at Drew Elementary School and Hoffman-Boston Elementary School! AYD Arlington Canvassing Kick Off
Join us for our AYD canvass kick-off in Arlington on Saturday, September 3! We will be canvassing for Bethany Sutton for Arlington School Board, Matt de Ferranti for Arlington County Board, and Don Beyer for Virginia's 8th district. Location: North Arlington (address provided upon registration)
Date: Saturday, September 3
Time: 10am
Please be prepared to walk around for a while (think: athletic clothing, tennis shoes, sunglasses, baseball cap or visor), and keep an eye on the forecast. We recommend while canvassing that you wear sunscreen, bring water and snacks, and come with a fully charged phone as we will be using a mobile app to canvass.

Arlington Dems Chili Cook-Off Please join Arlington Democrats and chili lovers from across the County in our salute to Labor at this great in-person and Joint Campaign kick-off event.
A strong middle class is the basis of a sound democracy and Labor Unions are the foundation of that middle class. Let's get fired up for some great Democratic candidates and a lot of great chili!
