Service has always been a central value to me; from my own service in the U.S. Navy to those who have found their niche in their own communities, the value of serving one's country and community can’t be overstated.
We find those who gravitate toward public service are defined by values like courage, empathy, and integrity – traits too often lacking in our nation’s politics. At New Politics, we recruit, train, and provide support to folks with backgrounds in service to take that next step into political leadership completely free of charge, because we believe putting servant leaders in office is critical to the future of our democracy.
And we need your help to do it. Our team of experts are already hard at work supporting former service members who share our values – at all levels of government, all across the country, regardless of their party affiliation.
We’re already identifying, training, and supporting the next generation of leaders who are serving their communities – we just need your help to continue our support.

We support outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
