It’s official, John:

Kari Lake has won the Arizona Republican primary and will be my opponent this November.

Here’s what you need to know: Kari Lake has built her campaign around the Big Lie. She’s spent over a year spreading conspiracy theories and lies, and attacking me for doing my job to keep our elections safe and secure.

Kari Lake also believes abortion should be criminalized. If she becomes Arizona’s next governor, she could make absolutely sure that the fundamental right to choose no longer exists in our state.

Of course, Kari Lake’s extreme beliefs have earned her the support of Donald Trump — he’s held multiple rallies here on her behalf, and we can be sure that he and his allies will do (and spend) whatever it takes to send her to the governor’s office.

No matter what they say, here’s the truth: Arizonans deserve a governor who will tackle our state’s greatest challenges. That’s exactly what I’ll do. Kari Lake will only drag us backward.
