In the real world… if you don’t do your job you don’t get a paycheck. In
Washington, that doesn’t always apply to our elected officials.

In the real world… if you don’t do your job you don’t get a paycheck. In
Washington, that doesn’t always apply to our elected officials.

During government shutdowns, Congress continues to get paid, and Americans
suffer.

That’s why, Jack is leading a group of bipartisan and bicameral lawmakers to
pass theNo Budget, No Pay Proposal.

The message is simple. Members of Congress are elected to office to serve
their districts and the American people. Those who fail to pass an
appropriation bill to keep our government from shutting down and hurting
Americans, shouldn’t be rewarded.
