John, as Attorney General, I made sure every vote was counted. The former president and his enablers sued my office 43 times. In fact, they sued my office 19 times before a single vote was counted — just to try and make it harder for Black and brown folks to vote.

Now I’m running for governor against Doug Mastriano — who has vowed to succeed where those lawsuits failed, destroy our democracy, and overturn the 2024 election if he doesn’t like the winner. He even attended the insurrection.

If we are going to win these battles to defend our democracy, it requires everyone to get off the sidelines, get in the game, and do our part.
