SEEC 2022 Election Fundraising Drive Update:
We still need to raise $6,051 before August 31st to fully fund the re-election campaigns of our pro-environmental members of Congress.
At the start of August, we wrote to you about our essential fundraising drive and have kept you updated on our progress toward the goal all month.
As you can see above, we are just $6,051 away from hitting our $15,000 goal to fully fund the re-election campaigns of our pro-environmental members of Congress.
SEEC PAC supports a coalition of over 80 Members of Congress committed to protecting our environment. Since the last election, we have added a dozen new members to our ranks, which is fantastic for our agenda, but does mean we have even more members we need to support in this election. We are fighting within the halls of Congress to advance clean energy, climate change solutions, and environmental justice while protecting our air, water, wildlife, and public lands.
In just a few days, we will cut checks to support the re-election of SEEC members who have been on the frontline of environmental issues these past two years. Our goal is to give every single SEEC member a check so they can fight back against anti-environmental interests and keep their seat green – but as you can see, we haven’t quite made it yet.
Thanks to your help in 2020, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats.
