That’s my dog chip. And those are Chip's begging eyes. 

I’ll admit that when he begs, it's pretty effective. 

The tactics that Chip uses to get treats isn’t how I think we should run a campaign for the U.S. Senate. So I’m not here to beg you for money. In fact, I don’t even like asking for it at all—but because fundraising is such an important part of political campaigns, I’ve got to do it.

So, instead of begging, I’m going to explain why winning this race is so important:

With our 50-50 majority in the Senate, Democrats have passed sweeping climate legislation, given Medicare the power to negotiate drug prices, and confirmed Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. 

But there is still so much more work to do. And the only way to get it done is to keep our Democratic Senate majority.

If we lose control to the Republicans – which we absolutely will if we lose here in New Hampshire – Mitch McConnell will return to the majority leader’s office ready to undo the progress we have made. But he won't stop there: He'll keep pushing to pass radical policies like a national abortion ban. 

There is too much at stake to give in. So while I won’t beg, I will ask: Can you give just $3 to help us win in New Hampshire and keep the U.S. Senate?
