While Governor Walz, a teacher and championship-winning high school football coach, fights to fully fund our public schools, Scott Jensen says we should spend “less money” on education.

Jensen even said that public schools need to “share the pain” and led the campaign against a referendum to help build new schools in Waconia – even when the local school district was so strapped they had to put students in a warehouse space.

It’s the same sad story we’ve seen over and over again in Minnesota and across the country. When Republicans cut school funding to pay for tax breaks for corporations and their ultra-wealthy donors, our children pay the price.

For the sake of Minnesota students, we need to keep Scott Jensen out of the governor’s office. Pitch in to help us reach our August fundraising goal by 11:59 pm tomorrow so we can keep moving Minnesota forward and ensure every child gets the education they deserve.
