A year after the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, how much do you really know about the impact of the U.S. withdrawal?
Friend,
A year ago, the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan was broadcast in real time across America. Many of us gathered around our televisions in horror as we watched the collapse.

We bore witness to immense human suffering and saw such desperate sights as people clinging to aircraft, hoping for a chance at freedom. We saw a mass of humanity passing babies over walls to strangers, with the same yearning.

Today, we are seeing the grim ramifications of the collapse in the increasingly heated contest to shape the 21st century world order.
Friend,
how much do you know about what really happened during the withdrawal from Afghanistan? Test your knowledge.
How many confirmed American citizens who wanted to leave were left behind after Kabul fell to the Taliban?

A. 0
B. 10 - 50
C. Over 800
D. None of the above

There is plenty to criticize about U.S. policy in Afghanistan over a series of U.S. administrations, but it did not amount to anything like the catastrophe we are now witnessing.

In the bigger picture, the Taliban had a goal and a plan. President Joe Biden’s abrupt and poorly designed policies opened the way for them to execute at speed... even as Biden and his press officers told the world no such thing would happen.

As we remember that horrendous day of the Biden administration’s botched retreat from Afghanistan: take this quick, informative quiz to test your knowledge. ([link removed])
