This DES internal position reports to the CMS Sortation Supervisor to deliver exceptional mail services; reduce the overall cost of government; and set a standard for continuous improvement. The duties and responsibilities of this position play an important part in achieving the goals of DES, by requiring the employee to understand the needs of our customers, be proactive in customer service and to perform the essential functions of this position.
The incumbent in this position will be an expert on all mail equipment and jobs processed by CMS and is responsible for training new staff. This position will serve as the back-up to the Program Coordinator.
