When I reported the infamous phone call that led to Donald Trump's impeachment inquiry, I did it because someone had to hold him accountable.

I've witnessed firsthand the corruption and vitriol that Trump brought to our nation's highest level of government. And none of us can be naive enough to think that the threat of Trump and his ilk is over just because he's out of the White House.

Our democracy is on the ballot in 2022, and that is why I endorsed Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.

Mandela's campaign to defeat Ron Johnson is going to be one of the most competitive races in the entire country.

It is also a critical opportunity to unseat an extremist Republican incumbent who spreads disinformation, undermines U.S. national security, and threatens the future of our democracy.
