The truth is, leaders like Robert don’t come around often. Leaders who reflect the diversity of America, and show young people that they can have a seat at the table, regardless of race, class, sexuality, or immigration status. Leaders who have experienced hardship firsthand, truly understanding the detrimental effects of an inactive government. Leaders who will stand up for what's right and fight for the people, not sell out to dark money interests.
Robert will be that leader in Congress.
Robert understands what it’s like to be an LGBTQ+ immigrant and be underrepresented in Congress, despite the vast LGBTQ+ and immigrant population in America. The county is, after all, a country of immigrants.
Robert understands what it’s like to watch the government fail to take action during a pandemic and face the consequences himself when losing his mother and step-father to COVID-19.
Robert understands the needs of Californians and believes everyone deserves a future where they can thrive.
This is more than a race. It's an opportunity to elect a representative that will truly be a voice for us.
