In this series, Protecting Protest: We Need All Hands on Deck—published by NPQ in partnership with the Protect Dissent Network—writers examine how the constitutional right to protest is being threatened and why we must fight to protect it. Hundreds of anti-protest bills have been introduced since 2017.
