As a nonprofit newsroom, ProPublica gets much of our funding through donations from readers. So far this year, over 25,000 people have made a gift in support of our superhero journalists and the amazing work that they do.

Every day, ProPublica’s writers, editors, and data crunchers put these donation dollars to work by investigating corrupt politicians, greedy corporations, miscarriages of justice and more. We have the largest investigative reporting team in the entire country — and it’s almost all powered through donations.
