Hi, John. Mark Racchini here – Attorney General Ellison’s Deputy Finance Director.

Each month, we set a fundraising goal based on the resources we need to win in November. We have an extremely tough fight ahead of us over the next two months. So, I won’t mince words: our goals are ambitious.

Keith won with the smallest margin of any Minnesota statewide candidate in 2018. We have an even harder fight ahead of us this year, and the most recent public polling in our race already showed Keith trailing by one point.

The truth is, it’s going to take an unprecedented grassroots movement to re-elect Keith and keep the Minnesota Attorney General's office from falling into the hands of the GOP. And right now, our plans are in jeopardy.

Tomorrow night is our first end-of-month deadline of the general election. And we still need to raise $14,471 online by then to meet the budget targets we set to expand our organizing and paid media campaigns for the home stretch of the campaign.
