Hi John,
We’re about halfway through our end-of-summer sustaining donor campaign and we’re so grateful to everyone who has joined us so far. We’re also grateful to you for having our back—whether that’s been through donating, signing up for our newsletter, or signing a campaign petition.
We understand that not everyone who supports this work can afford to donate, but if you can, would you make the leap to become a monthly donor?
Supporters like you keep Fight’s human rights work going. There’s no line between “real” and “online” life anymore. Every tech decision made by powerful companies or legislators affects our day-to-day lives. It’s truer now than ever: the fight to make technology a force for good, rather than surveillance and oppression, is critically important.
We're trying to add just ten sustaining donors by the end of today. Can you help get us there? We’re a small and scrappy team. Small enough
that your support—yes, you—really drives the fight forward.
“We believe that staying small allows us to be nimble and to move at that lightning speed that we need in order to get things done and have the biggest impact that we possibly can.”
— Fight Director Evan Greer
Thanks so much,

Campaign Spotlight
Here’s what we’ve been working on and why your sustaining donation means the world to the fight.
Cancel Ring Nation: In September, Amazon-owned MGM Studios plans to premiere "Ring Nation." This reality show will be like America's Funniest Home Video—except instead of home movies, it’ll air clips from people’s Ring surveillance cameras. We’ve sounded the alarm about the dangers of these devices, including privacy violations and racism, for years. Ring Nation is a transparent attempt to normalize surveillance and manufacture a PR miracle for scandal-ridden Amazon. We’re telling MGM to shut it down.
