The first two years of the Biden presidency have resulted in a catastrophe at our southern border.

• In Biden’s first year in office, The Border Patrol recorded over 1.8 million migrant apprehensions at the Southern border.
• This year, encounters at the Southern border are on pace to shatter last year’s number.

The numbers are clear – the Biden Administration’s weak border policies are a threat to our country and our community.

• Since Biden took office, nearly 18,000 pounds of fentanyl has been seized at the border, more than twice as much as the previous two years.
• Ohio has suffered more fentanyl deaths, than any other state since 2015.
• In 2021 alone, Ohio experienced the third highest number of fentanyl deaths.

A safe and secure southern border is a crucial step in fighting the opioid epidemic here at home.
