Dear friend, Parents have enough to deal with worrying about dirty diapers. They shouldn’t have to wonder about toxic chemicals in diapers too – but they do. There are almost zero restrictions on toxic chemicals in baby diapers, and companies aren’t even required to disclose which chemicals are in them. Independent tests have found dozens of harmful chemicals in diapers, including chemicals linked to hormone disruption, skin irritation and even cancer! This is especially concerning, given that babies and kids wear on average 2,500 diapers a year, and diapers cover areas where the skin is thinnest and more susceptible to exposure to harmful chemicals. EWG is fighting to clean up the baby diaper industry. We launched EWG VERIFIED™ diapers to help parents easily find diapers that meet EWG’s strictest standards for health. But we need your help to push the industry toward greater transparency and safer ingredients. Can you complete a quick survey by midnight tonight to help EWG clean up the diaper industry? |
Thanks for your feedback, friend. Jocelyn Lyle |
