I'm about to ask you to become an Official 2020 Member of Team NDRC by making your first donation -- but first, let me explain why I'm asking.

2020 is our last chance to secure fair maps by electing Democrats to state and local offices. It's the last year before redistricting -- so we have to make it count.

That's why the NDRC has set an ambitious list of targets, including some states where Donald Trump won in 2016 and Republicans kept control in 2018. It won't be easy to win in these places, but we've won tougher battles together.

Together, we helped defeat Scott Walker in Wisconsin. We helped win nine other governor's races and flip eight legislative chambers. We got out the vote in states across the country to help Democrats win back the U.S. House in 2018.

That's incredible, and it's a testament to this grassroots team. But let me be clear: We have almost no margin for error in the months ahead. Not with Republicans like Walker, Trump, and Pence coming after the NDRC and throwing millions into keeping their manipulated maps.
