I’m proud of everything Democrats have accomplished in recent weeks:
- Passed historic legislation to fight inflation, lower prescription and health care costs, and combat climate change
- Made investments in U.S. manufacturing to shorten supply chains and create jobs
- Passed a bill to make sure veterans exposed to toxic pollution while serving our country get the health care and benefits they need and have earned
- Passed the first gun-safety law in decades
This is why I came to Congress: to put New Jerseyans first and deliver the solutions they need.
Our first NJ-11 Match Program of the year closes at midnight tomorrow and I’m hoping I can count on you to chip in to my re-election campaign.
There’s more I want to do for our state and country, but according to election experts, Washington Republicans are favored to win the House and they only need five seats to do it. That makes our race a must-win.
We’re facing difficult headwinds this year, but as a Navy helicopter pilot for nearly 10 years, I know what it takes to land the mission in turbulent winds. (Sometimes I had to land on a ship deck in the middle of the ocean in the pitch-black of night.)
This team knows what it takes, too, because we did it in 2018 and again in 2020.
