Dear John, When we received the news that a new donor to the American Immigration Council pledged $100,000 in support of our work, we were both elated and challenged. When announcing the gift, they encouraged us to reach out to our donors and supporters and ask that they match it dollar for dollar. Can you join us in helping raise $100,000? Any and all donations count—but we have a December 31 deadline. The American Immigration Council’s important work is not just for today, but for decades to come as we mitigate the negative impact of harmful immigration policies. We cannot do this work without you. Would you continue your support with a tax-deductible year-end gift?
On behalf of everyone dedicated to preserving our immigration tradition, I thank you. Kind regards, Beth Werlin |

We work to shape how America thinks about immigration and acts towards immigrants. To work towards a more fair and just immigration system, the Council brings together four coordinated approaches to advance change—litigation, research, advocacy, and communications.
