BREAKING: AB257 PASSES THE CA SENATE
[link removed]

John,

California fast-food workers are on the cusp of victory with the Senate's passage of AB257 -- a landmark bill that will bring justice to fast-food workers like me. Now we're calling on legislators across the country to follow California's lead and give workers a seat at the table. Add your photo to our petition now >> [link removed]

I've worked at McDonald's for over 16 years. In that time, I've faced sexual harassment, wage theft, unsafe working conditions and more. I know exactly how fast-food workers like me are mistreated and disrespected. Legislation like AB257 is our best shot at leveling the playing field between workers and corporations.

For too long, corporations and CEOs have had all the power. They chose what they'd pay us and what complaints they'd ignore with little to no input from us. That's why we're taking our power back. Corporations should not be able to ignore the voices of the workers that make them their profits. When AB257 becomes law, California fast-food employers will have to meet with us and agree on fair wages and working conditions.

This bill will be a model for the whole country of what justice for workers really looks like. Demand laws like AB257 in your state now >> [link removed]

In solidarity,

Angelica Hernandez
