My name is Pat Ryan, and I just won a toss-up special election in upstate New York.

Will you split a contribution between me and Max to help defend this seat and protect our Democratic majority?

From the start, pundits doubted I could win a competitive seat during a midterm election year. Republicans spent millions of dollars trying to defeat our campaign.

But against the odds, we WON. And if we can win in this toss-up seat here in upstate New York, I know we can win in Max’s district.

Voters are making it clear, from here in New York to Kansas and everywhere in between: We will not let the Republicans take away our most fundamental freedoms and undermine reproductive rights.

We’re at a defining moment in our history in which our most fundamental freedoms are under attack.

Just like Max, my Republican opponent this November is a far-right Republican in favor of extreme bans on reproductive access. Republican leadership will work hard to support both of our opponents’ campaigns, and dark money super PACs will start spending on our races in no time.

In November, freedom and choice are on the ballot, but we won't go back. Together, I know we can win these competitive races and hold onto the House majority.
