Making progress can be slow and frustrating with so many starts and stops. This bill certainly wasn’t destined to happen. But after all was said and done, we delivered this enormous, necessary victory for our country and planet.
There’s still more we need to do to address climate change. This is a significant bill but it’s also a down payment on more still to come. Climate change is the challenge of our generation, so our work’s not over. We’ll keep at it because we know there’s no other option.
