hoping you’ll bear with me for just a couple of minutes.

But if you’re in a hurry and don’t have time, here’s what you need to
know: with only 3 days left in August, we’re trailing behind where I’d

I’m not gonna lie, August hasn’t been easy.

We started the month with the wind at our backs and momentum on our
side—our last FEC quarterly report showed that we’d outraised JD’s
fumbling campaign 9 to 1, and the polls had us surging ahead.

Then BAM! Corporate billionaires and dark money super PACs took notice and
started panic-spending. They dropped MILLIONS to take the wind out of our
sails.

First, the NRSC announced a $1 million ad buy to try and slow JD’s slide
in the polls.

Days later, One Nation, an out-of-state dark money group aligned with
Mitch McConnell, announced they’d be dropping $3.8 million to flood Ohio’s
airwaves with ads attacking me.

Then the floodgates REALLY opened when the Senate Leadership Fund
committed a jaw-dropping $28 MILLION to ensure that this Ohio Senate seat
remains in GOP hands.

That’s an obscene amount of money, folks.

But instead of corporate billionaires or out-of-state super PACs, I’m
relying on our 240,000+ grassroots supporters to help me flip Ohio blue
and expand our Democratic Senate majority.

To defeat JD and his ultra-rich backers, we must first crush this
End-of-Month fundraising goal—if we fall short, we won’t be able to
counter their lies and smear attacks.
