One of the country’s top voting rights lawyers published a piece this week outlining the ways that Republican governors are bad for democracy and are slowly chipping away at voters’ rights.

Paul LePage is exactly the type of Republican governor that we need to keep out of office if we want to protect democracy. He’s repeatedly made baseless claims of voter fraud and courted the support of January 6th insurrectionists in his attempts to undermine Maine’s electoral process.
