With less than 48 hours to hit our goal before August’s fundraising deadline, I wanted to directly reach out to you and this grassroots movement in hopes you’ll be able to make your first donation of the month. Your contribution couldn’t come at a more critical moment for our campaign, and here’s why:

Early voting starts in less than two months, plus we've got a little more than two months until Election Day, and so we’re still looking to reach as many voters as possible before then. But falling short of our fundraising goal would force us to make tough decisions about where to focus our spending, and we frankly cannot afford to cut back if we’re going to win this governor’s seat.

Making our goals keeps us on pace and puts us in an excellent position to build on our growing momentum, and anything less than that could have negative consequences for our campaign’s future. That’s just the reality of it. And that’s why we’re looking to this coalition to give us a needed boost between now and Wednesday night.

This election will be here before we know it, and we’ve got to meet our fundraising goals to power this campaign to victory and stop Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Can you pitch in $5 or anything you can spare ahead of Wednesday’s fundraising deadline?

We’ve got a winning message, and a set of policies that would transform the future of Arkansans across the state. We’ve just got to ensure enough folks get to hear it before the election. 

That’s why this fundraising deadline in particular is so important — because we’ve got to spend the remaining days and weeks spreading our PB&J vision far and wide, but that’s only doable if we’ve got the resources to make it happen.

We’ve been holding our own against my opponent’s deep-pocketed, dark money megadonors, and with this major deadline approaching, I’m calling on this movement to take it up to the next level. We’ve consistently proven that we’ve got more than enough to fight back against Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the GOP, and now’s another opportunity to show just how strong we’ve become together.
