On January 6, while Josh Hawley was cheering on insurrectionists outside the Capitol, Ron Johnson was part of a plan to deliver a slate of fake Wisconsin electors to Vice President Pence inside.

Ron Johnson can’t keep his story straight about this involvement. First, he said he knew nothing.

Now, he says his effort to deliver fake electors only lasted a few seconds so there’s no issue — like the 5 second rule, but not for food — for trying to overturn a presidential election.

Ron Johnson is extremely popular with the MAGA-right. He does their bidding, and they reward him with donations and votes. As you read this, they are pumping huge sums of money into the effort to re-elect him.
