Lauren Underwood For Congress

Representing our community in Congress has been the honor of my life, John. And it’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

In the three and a half years I’ve served in Congress, I’ve had ten different pieces of legislation signed into law by both Democratic and Republican administrations — including my Health Care Affordability Act, lowering health care costs and premiums, and the Protecting Moms Who Served Act, improving maternal health care for our veterans and helping save moms' lives.

And after weeks of hard work and negotiations in Congress, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law just a few weeks ago — legislation that will slash prescription drug prices and invest in a clean energy future.

We made some incredible progress over the last few years, but as we both know, there’s still a lot of work ahead of us. And now is not the time to get complacent.

After we won one of the closest elections in the nation in 2020, all eyes are on our race. And Republicans are hopeful they can squeak by and flip this seat.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has named me a top target, and they didn’t waste a second before throwing their support behind my extreme right-wing opponent.

Protecting this seat won’t be easy, it’s going to take a lot of resources to fight back against the tens of millions of dollars Republicans are spending to launch attacks on campaigns like ours and tilt the scales in their favor. If we’re going to win this race and keep fighting for progress in Washington, I’ll need you by my side every step of the way.

So John, I’m humbly asking: Will you make a donation to my campaign for Congress ahead of our end-of-month fundraising deadline to help us keep up our policy-focused work in Washington? In a race as close as ours will be, every dollar makes a difference.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We have our work cut out for us, but this incredible team is no stranger to a tough fight. Together, I know anything is possible.

Warmly,

Lauren
