Representative Carter joins Samsung as they give back to the Taylor community.
I joined Samsung in Taylor to announce $1 million in non-profit donations to four local Williamson County non-profits. Samsung donated $250,000 to Taylor ISD, Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County, Bluebonnet Trails, and Shepherd’s Heart. I’m pleased to see Samsung embracing their new home and helping to support those in Williamson County that make our community a better place.
Congressman Carter tours Ametrine to learn more about their lifesaving equipment.
Ametrine is leading the industry in equipment that helps our troops “be invisible” on the battlefield and they’re right here in Round Rock. With Army Futures Command right down the road, innovative defense-focused technology companies are making TX-31 their home. As a member of the Defense Appropriations Committee, I look forward to collaborating with them to make sure America’s military is the most advanced and most lethal fighting force. The technology behind Ametrine’s Multi-Spectral Signature Management Technology is incredible to witness, and I look forward to seeing how they continue to evolve to keep our service members safe.
I’d love to hear from you so I can better represent you in Congress. Please take this survey to share what issues matter most to you and your family!
Rep. Carter joins GAF Energy and fellow community leaders at the new site of GAF Energy in Georgetown, TX.
INNOVATION KEEPS COMING TO TX-31
Last week, I joined GAF Energy to cut the ribbon on their new 450,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Georgetown, TX. GAF Energy will be manufacturing the world’s first nailable solar roof shingle. As someone who strongly supports bringing manufacturing back to the United States and an all-of-the-above energy policy to meet the needs of the United States, I’m pleased to see GAF Energy choose TX-31 as their new home.
As always, thank you for taking the time to stay updated on what's happening in Texas' 31st congressional district. Follow my Facebook and Twitter accounts for more updates.
It is an honor and privilege to represent you and Texas in the United States House.
