Hey John,

I’ll keep this short today.

The most uncomfortable thing I have to do is ask supporters like you for money. It's not why I got into politics — but emails like this are necessary to actually make a change.

The fact of the matter is that we need to reach our August fundraising goal if we want to defeat Doug Mastriano, keep democracy safe, and make sure abortion remains legal here in Pennsylvania.

John, I hate to ask, but can you chip in $5 to keep us in this fight and to support Fight for Progress?

There is too much at stake this year, and I need everyone’s help if we are going to pull this off — and we don’t have a second to waste. I’m fully counting on supporters just like you to give this campaign the wind in our sails that we need to stay in this fight.
