Wednesday’s deadline is so important. Right after we close the books, we’re going to be faced with some of the biggest budget decisions we’ve had to make.

That’s why we set such a big goal of 25,000 individual donations. We knew it would not be easy to reach in such a short amount of time, but it’s what it will take if we want to win this race and flip North Carolina’s Senate seat.

And that is what we must do. We cannot afford to fall short and risk handing this seat to far-right Republicans and their corporate special interest allies.

Just like when 401 votes decided Cheri’s race for Chief Justice, a small number of votes in November could decide whether we expand the majority — so Cheri can cast the decisive vote for progress for our families.
