God Is BIG, Really BIG
==========

**God is so much bigger than what we think...**

God introduces Himself to Abraham in _Genesis 17:1_ as " **God Almighty**."

God describes Himself as **Omnipotent**.

**Omni** means " **all**" while **Potent** means " **power** , **might** , **ability**" (where we get the word _potential_). **Omnipotent** means **all powerful** , **all might** , **all strength** and **all potential**.

Everything that exists (_every planet_, _every star_, _every tree_, _every bird_ and _every person_) comes from God and yet God is still Omnipotent. That means **He can do more than what He has done** (_potential_).

**God Almighty has placed tremendous potential inside each of us** because He created us with a purpose.

**Purpose is why something exists**.

**Potential is the ability to accomplish purpose**.

Potential precedes purpose.

But you can have potential and never fulfill your purpose. **How can that be**?

There is a process for potential to manifest into purpose.

The Church Needs Strong Leaders Now More Than Ever
==========

America is in **TROUBLE** because for the most part, the American Church has failed to keep _the main thing, the main thing_.

I believe the Church in America is in desperate need of a spiritual revival and at Sheridan.Church ( [link removed] ) we want to do our part.

This Fall, we are launching Sheridan Bible Institute ( [link removed] )!

This will be a _one-year program_ designed to **educate** , **equip** and **empower** believers to bring about **real transformation** to our nation.

Each semester will consist of six courses. The classes will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6 pm CT. There will be three classes on Tuesday evening and three classes on Thursday evening with each class being fifty minutes.

For the Fall semester, I will be teaching **Old Testament Survey** and **History of Christianity Pt.1**. The other courses will be taught by Instructors that I know have _studied to show themselves approved_.
