Last month, election forecasters were predicting that Republicans would most likely flip the Senate, John.

Now, Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight says that the Democratic majority is slightly favored to win the Senate.

While it may not seem like a big step forward, this means that if we keep it up, we can not only hold on to our majority, but expand it. If we win in November, Chris and his colleagues will be able to continue pushing for legislation that will benefit all Americans, like the Inflation Reduction Act.
