Election denying political leaders continue to spew out misinformation and create a hostile work environment for hard working election workers.
Jack,
Election workers have been caught in the crossfire of election-denying rhetoric, and I simply will not stand for it.
It is impossible to have a fair democracy if we do not protect the people who administer and secure our elections. Due to heightened harassment and threats election workers have faced, people are becoming discouraged from taking on the job – leaving our elections system stretched thin. This is exactly what election deniers want, and we can’t let it continue.
Unprecedented challenges to our democratic way of life require experienced, steadfast leadership to meet this moment. I am working every day to face down these challenges and deliver for New Mexico.
Election-denying political leaders continue to spew out misinformation and create a hostile work environment for hard-working election workers. We need strong leaders in office who are ready to fight back against these growing conspiracy theories.
I care about the well-being of all workers who dedicate their time and efforts to helping New Mexico’s democracy. No election would be possible without them which is why I want to make sure they feel safe, secure and recognized in their jobs.
