Friend, Big Oil is trying to trick us into letting them drill for more oil.

We need to pass SB 1314 to stop them. Call your Assemblymember and urge them to vote YES on SB 1314 before the floor vote TODAY!

That’s right, the fossil fuel industry is at it again. Their latest climate-delaying tactic is to drill for more oil using carbon captured by technology and call it climate action!

Using carbon captured by technology to drill for more oil doesn’t even pass the smell test to count as climate action.

A YES vote on SB 1314 protects communities AND the planet by preventing the oil industry from using this greenwashing practice.

To win this climate fight, we need to be rapidly transitioning to a clean energy economy, not growing even more dependent on oil and gas that will continue to pollute communities.

You can help stop Big Oil, friend. Before the full Senate votes TODAY, call your Assemblymember and make sure they’re voting YES on SB 1314 to protect us from FALSE climate solutions.

Big Oil is no match for this team of environmental warriors when we come together to make our collective voice heard.

We’ve got this!
