On Labor Day, we reflect on working people’s victories. We created better lives for ourselves and our families. We have safer workplaces and stronger economies.

That’s why unions are more popular this Labor Day than at any time in the past 50 years.

Join AFGE in celebrating Labor Day with our union family across the country.

Dozens of events are scheduled around the country, from picnics to panel discussions to parades. This is your opportunity to plug into local events and celebrate Labor Day with the extended AFL-CIO labor community. We also encourage you to add your Labor Day event to this site if your local is hosting a gathering this year.
